KOMUNIKASI POLITIK NU DENGAN PEMERINTAH KOLONIAL HINDIA BELANDA TENTANG RANCANGAN UNDANG-UNDANG ANTI POLIGAMI PERSPEKTIF DEMOKRASI DELIBERATIF JURGEN HABERMAS

Abstract

This research aims to describe political communication between NU with Dutch East Indies Colonial Government about anti-polygamy bill. This research is a type of literature research related to Political Communication Between NU and Dutch East Indies Colonial Government about the Anti-Polygamy Bill. As for interpreting and analyzing data using the approach initiated by Jurgen Habermas in the form of Democracy Deliberative. The result show that through the deliberative discourse of Moslem scholars in the NU congress in Malang, as an organization NU expressly rejected the application of the Ontwerp Ordonnantie Perkawinan Boemipoetra, this rejection was based on theological grounds and social rationally accepted by the majority conference participants. Based on that decision later NU organization asked the Dutch East Indies colonial government not to ratify and enforce the bill, and about this government grant.
