TEORI KONTEMPORER FAZLUR RAHMAN MENGENAI WAHYU AL-QUR’AN HADIR DALAM TERMA-TERMA
Abstract
Contemporary theories presented by Fazlur Rahman had many great influences, especially in the 20th century. Not infrequently, the theories he presented raised many pros and cons in society and also among scholars because they were considered quite reckless in giving argumen tis his way of reviewing Islam using rational theory. This paper aims to analyze Fazlur Rahman’s theory coherently and systematically. The author uses exploratory qualitative research methods and seeks reference materials that sipport the object of this study. This study states that the revelation of the Qyr’an comes in four terms, then Abdullah saeed perfects the argument.
